Straight answers about iSPACE fibre, business services and the network behind them.
Does iSPACE require a fixed-term contract?
No — iSPACE fibre services are billed month-to-month with 30 days’ notice. If the service is cancelled within 12 months of the installation date, an installation recovery amount of R 575 applies. This is a fixed amount and is not pro-rated. A service activation fee of R 575 applies where an ONT is already installed at the premises, or where you are migrating from another service provider.
What is iSPACE’s fault repair time?
FTTH Premium and Office Connect services have a mean time to repair of 8 hours during office hours — an average, not a guaranteed repair time. Standard FTTH bundles are repaired on a best-effort basis during office hours, with no repair-time target.
What is the difference between FTTH, FTTH Premium and Office Connect?
Standard FTTH bundles are uncapped home fibre repaired on a best-effort basis during office hours, with no repair-time target. FTTH Premium provides prioritised fibre connectivity for home offices and small businesses. Office Connect is business fibre with prioritised fault repair; both Premium and Office Connect carry a mean time to repair of 8 hours during office hours — an average, not a guarantee.
